MultiPad 1 Multipurpose Clinical Skills Trainer

MultiPad I, the medical simulation training pad produced for students for individual use. It is a multipurpose hands-on medical simulation pad design for students to practice essential clinical skills related to venipuncture, percutaneous injections, wound care, urinary catheterization and nasogastric (NG) insertion. This portable multifunctional device is ideal for use in a variety of settings including at-home deliberate practice to enhance skill mastery.

Venepuncture landmarking and insertion

Skin Color
All our MedicSkin® products are available in a choice of 3 colors, this allows you to adapt the products to the color of your manikins (Depending on the brand you have. Ex.: CAE Healthcare™, Gaumard™, Nasco™, Sakamoto™, 3B Scientific®, or some other manufacturers), or for your task trainers, your busts or arms, or to use the products to fit also during your simulation with standardized patients.

Liquid injection
MedicSkin® products are injectable, meaning the user can inject air into them. If specified, you can inject liquid into task trainers, a special sponge inside the product absorbs the liquid until saturation, easily drain it and rinse with distilled water to avoid mould growth.

Ultrasound
Task trainers with MedicSkin® are ultrasound scannable for sonography simulation. For example, the IV arm can be used for training in ultrasound-guided intravenous (IV) access. (Showing the user the needle or catheter).
