This unique pair of sticky pitting edema simulator allows you to easily use it on manikins or standardized patients.

Pitting edema is an observable swelling of body tissues due to fluid accumulation that may be demonstrated by applying pressure to the swollen area (such as by depressing the skin with a finger). It often affects the lower body, such as the legs, feet, and ankles, but it can occur anywhere, that's why we created this adhesive product.

Sticky, realistic, for your simulations on standardized patients or training manikins from various manufacturers.

This simulator can be worn on the lower legs or on the ankles.

Exist in 3 colors (White, brown and black) as all our products.

Maintenance: if the product doesn’t stick well because of dust, hair or other residues, just rinse it under tap water and it will stick again.

• Grade 1+ Mild pitting, slight indentation (2 mm indent), no perceptible swelling of area, rapid return to normal.
• Grade 2+ Moderate pitting, indentation (4 mm indent) rebounds in a few seconds (Under 10 seconds).

Skin Color

Injection
All products are injectables, it means that you can inject air on MedicSkin®. If it’s specified, you can inject liquid in the trainers, a special sponge inside the product absorbs the liquid until saturation, evacuate it easily through the drain. (Rinse with distilled water)

Ultrasound
The trainers are also ultrasound scannable for ultrasound simulation. For example, use the IV arm for your training for ultrasound-guided intravenous (IV) access. (Showing the user the needle or catheter).
