The most realistic and versatile trauma wrap around for swelling and contusion caused by a closed femoral fracture.

The MEDICFX Femur Fracture (Closed) Wrap Around replicates the external signs of a mid-shaft femoral fracture, including realistic bruising, swelling, and contusion. Constructed from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it provides a durable and lifelike tool for trauma training.

The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric allow for quick application and adjustment on both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each wrap is hand-painted by FX artists to ensure clinically accurate presentation for repeatable training scenarios.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
    • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
    • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
    • Secure with Velcro fastening.
    • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
    • Designed for closed femoral fracture simulation.
    • Features bruising, swelling, and contusion without visible bone.
    • Ideal for:
      • Recognition of closed fracture signs
      • Pain and mobility assessment
      • Haemorrhage and swelling management
      • Trauma assessment and casualty evacuation training
    • Suitable for both SPs and manikins.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
