The most realistic and versatile trauma sleeve for open fracture training.

The MEDICFX Open Fracture Trauma Sleeve is designed to replicate the external presentation of a compound fracture with exposed bone and tissue damage. Made from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with mesh, it delivers lifelike realism with rugged durability. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric make it easy to apply and adjust on both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each model is hand-painted by FX artists for clinical accuracy, making it an ideal tool for immersive trauma training.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
    • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
    • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
    • Secure with Velcro fastening.
    • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
    • Designed for compound/open fracture simulation.
    • Ideal for:
      • Haemorrhage control
      • Fracture assessment and immobilisation
      • Wound cleaning and dressing practice
      • Tactical, prehospital, and clinical trauma education
    • Suitable for both SPs and manikins.
    • Rugged construction for repeated training use.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
