The most realistic and versatile wrap around for open wound training.

The MEDICFX Open Wound Wrap Around is designed to replicate a realistic traumatic wound for training in emergency and clinical care. Constructed from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it combines durability with lifelike realism. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric ensure fast application and secure fit, making it suitable for both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each piece is hand-painted by FX artists for maximum authenticity, allowing trainers to run repeatable and clinically accurate scenarios.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
  • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
  • Secure with Velcro fastening.
  • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
  • Designed for open wound trauma simulation.
  • Ideal for:
    • Hemorrhage control training
    • Wound dressing and cleaning practice
    • Trauma assessment in clinical or prehospital settings
    • Emergency and rescue scenario training
  • Suitable for both SPs and manikins.
  • Durable and reusable across multiple sessions.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
