The most realistic silicone trauma sleeve designed for suturing practice and wound closure training.

The MEDICFX Suture Wrist Laceration Sleeve replicates a deep wrist laceration that can be sutured using a round-bodied needle. Made from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it combines lifelike texture with durability for repeated training. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric allow easy application and adjustment, making it compatible with both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each sleeve is hand-painted by FX artists, ensuring a realistic and clinically accurate wound appearance for immersive medical education.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
  • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
  • Secure with Velcro fastening.
  • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
  • Designed for suturing and wound closure practice.
  • Replicates a slit wrist laceration with lifelike anatomical detail.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
