The cost-effective, self-healing gelatin is perfect for guiding needles to vessels using ultrasound. Lightweight and portable, it includes an airtight storage container.

We recommend using a high-frequency linear array ultrasound probe from 5.0 to 12 MHz.

While clear phantoms offer a superior visual appearance to teach important anatomical concepts they do have a darker appearance due to lack of additive simulating human tissue on ultrasound. To use them with ultrasound imaging devices the gain function will need to be increased to 80-90%. Colorized phantoms offer superior ultrasound appearance and are closer matched to human tissue density and may only require a 60-70% adjustment on the gain function.
