These facial overlays are designed to bring a new level of realism to your simulation training. Our manikin facial overlays are made from soft, durable silicone and are hand-painted by our FX artists to create a realistic and unique design. This particular facial overlay is perfect for the Laerdal Sim Man, but can be used on most manikins.

Suggested Scenario:
Gertrud is a retired midwife who has devoted her life to helping hundreds of babies come into the world. Despite never marrying or having children of her own, she keeps photo albums of all "her" babies and even follows some of them on Facebook. Lately, she has been experiencing hand pain from all the years of cradling and holding newborns. She decided to see a hand specialist who diagnosed her with carpal tunnel syndrome, a common condition among midwives and those who work with their hands frequently. With the these facial overlay, you can create a realistic simulation of Gertrud's experience and provide your students with a more engaging learning environment.

Whether you're training healthcare professionals or creating realistic emergency simulations, our manikin facial overlays add an extra layer of authenticity to your scenarios. Use this facial overlay to simulate a patient with memory loss or cognitive decline, or to help your students overcome age, gender, and racial biases.

Instructions:
Our manikin facial overlays are easy to use and convenient to put on thanks to the Velcro strap at the back. To care for your facial overlay, treat it like you would a real human face. Avoid pulling on any hair, store it out of direct sunlight in a cool environment, and brush the hair gently. To remove any oily residue, wipe the overlay with Isopropyl Alcohol and dry it with a hairdryer. For a longer lifespan, avoid touching the lips and eyes, and keep the overlay away from sharp objects.

Care Instructions and Warranty:
MEDICFX offers a 6-month warranty on the silicone parts of your model, as long as it is used gently and not ripped or torn. Hair-work is not covered under the warranty. If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please notify us within one week of receiving it, with a photo of the damage. If the damage is due to fabrication, we will repair, replace, or refund the product.
