Simulation of eye diseases

These are special simulation glasses for the age simulation suit GERT, simulating typical age-related eye diseases.
The set of glasses consists of 6 simulation glasses and will be delivered in a storage box. The glasses are inscribed with the eye diseases. The temples of the simulation glasses are individually adjustable.

This Simulation of Eye Diseases is an add-on accessory for the GERT Aging Suit. However, it can also be used separately.

The simulated eye diseases are:

  • Macular degeneration
  • Cataract
  • Glaucoma
  • Unilateral retinal detachment
  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Retinitis pigmentosa

Great simulation

These simulation glasses are very effective in allowing students to experience eye diseases.

I received these glasses in a timely fashion. The glasses arrived in a nice protective carrying and storage case. The glasses are labeled without the obstruction of their intended use. I tried each set of glasses and like many things about them. First, the glasses allow for those that already wear glasses to wear them and get the full effect of them as well. Second, these glasses have blinders on the sides that also give the wearer a full effect of their intended visual impairment. I did not give the full five stars as I have yet to try them with the students learning about visual impairments.

I am just the admn assistant who ordered these products. I don't have any knowledge how the OTA dept chair feels on the products. I know she did show the Allied Health program chairs a bit of how some of the items worked!

I had been using a loaner set of Vision Impairment simulation from RealityWorks...and your kit with the exact same six eye diseases is MUCH MORE realistic! We are getting a lot of great feedback from the medical staff that are wearing these glasses!
