The most realistic and versatile trauma wrap around for airway crisis and neck trauma training.

The MEDICFX Slit Throat With Exposed Trachea Wrap Around replicates a large, deep anterior neck laceration with visible tracheal damage. Constructed from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it provides lifelike realism and durability. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric allow secure and adjustable placement on simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each piece is hand-painted by FX artists to deliver maximum authenticity, making it ideal for training high-stakes airway and haemorrhage management scenarios.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
  • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
  • Secure with Velcro fastening.
  • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
  • Designed for deep cervical trauma simulation.
  • Represents a large slit throat with tracheal laceration.
  • Ideal for:
    • Haemorrhage control training at the neck
    • Airway compromise and crisis management
    • Emergency surgical airway preparation
    • Tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) and prehospital trauma training
  • Suitable for both SPs and manikins.
  • Rugged and reusable for repeated high-stress scenarios.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
