The Herniotrainer (HRT) is a simulator that has a pelvic shape, in which is possible to perform retroperitoneal dissection and identification of structures related to the correction of inguinal hernias. The HRT offers indirect and direct options.
Through this training, it is possible to identify bladder, vessels, and inguinal structures such as: spermatic canal, cooper ligament, ureter, iliac vessels, genitofemoral nerve, inferior epigastric vessels, ileopubic tract, and muscles.
After its use and after removing the peritoneum of the pelvis with hernia correction, the surgical unit made of Neoderma can be reutilized and recycled, making the training more economical.
The HRT system can be connected to Pro Delphus NEO-KNOT, enabling the use of graspers, real laparoscopic optics, digital camera with a computer, or even tablets.
