Realistic birthing baby with Gastrochisis.

Premature female baby. Gestation approx: 32 weeks

This version of Libby has gastrochisis and is a perfect model for training nurses and parents how to care for a baby with a complication like this.

Libby is made with high-grade Silicone and has a super realistic look. She has eye lashes and punched in hair, which is wet down.

How to use this baby model:
Her inflatable lungs are accessible through a tube inserted in her throat. A ventilation tube can be inserted in this tube and get a visible chest rise.

This baby can be used for new parents training, or nurse training to care for babies with Gastrochicis.

The baby will be delivered wrapped in plastic gladwrap

Included:

  • Realistic Silicone baby with visible intestines.
  • Bodysuit and pacifier, soft wrap and hat.
  • Care kit with shampoo and baby powder
  • Plastic storage case

Dimensions: Length 42 cm, Head circumference 24 cm.
Weight: 1.44kg. Total weight with the plastic storage case 3 kg.
Materials: Platinum Silicone, Mohair.

Care instructions:

  • Treat the baby as you would a real preemie. Don't pull on arms or legs or punched in hair.
  • Libby can be washed under the hot tap and cleaned with alcohol if needed.
  • Don't immerse the baby in water as it will fill up the lungs.
  • Dry the baby with soft towel and hairdryer and powder off before storing away
  • If the silicone gets a bit shiny/oily wipe with Iso alcohol and powder off with baby powder

Warranty:

  • MEDICFX warrants that the products supplied will be of good quality and reasonably fit for the purpose(s) mentioned in the descriptions. All products that are faulty or damaged need to be notified, with a photo of the damage, within a week after receiving the products. If the damage or fault is due to fabrication, the faulty product can be returned and repaired, replaced, or refunded.
