Transparent Newborn Torso for Ultrasound Training

An anatomically correct Transparent Newborn Torso for Ultrasound training is designed based on an average new born anatomy of 40 weeks old baby and it is made out of realistic tissue mimicking materials suitable for Ultrasound imaging. It can be used for Medical Imaging and Training Purposes.

The transparent phantom consists of the following features:
  • Heart
  • IVC
  • Umbilical cord
  • Liver
  • Water Fillable Bladder
  • Realistic Body Tissue

It is a tool to train the following:
  • Skills required to insert the catheter through the umbilical cord to the right atrium under ultrasound guidance
  • Skills required to identify and catheter a full and empty bladder under ultrasound guidance

This phantom can be customized. Radiology images are not included. Available upon request at an additional cost.
