Broken Humerus Trauma

The most realistic and versatile trauma sleeve for upper-arm fracture and bleeding control training.

This MEDICFX trauma sleeve is designed to replicate the devastating appearance of a broken humerus with exposed bone and soft tissue trauma. Made with soft, skin-like silicone embedded with mesh for durability, it provides an incredibly lifelike look and feel. Suitable for both simulated patients (SP) and manikins, it enables high-impact trauma scenarios for training emergency care providers.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
    • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
    • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
    • Secure with Velcro fastening.
    • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
    • Designed for upper-arm fracture simulation with exposed bone and tissue damage.
    • Supports training in:
      • Hemorrhage control
      • Splinting and immobilisation
      • Emergency wound dressing
      • Trauma assessment under stress
    • Quick to apply and reusable across multiple scenarios.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
