Broken Tibia Trauma

The most realistic and versatile trauma wrap around for severe lower-leg fracture simulation.

This MEDICFX wrap around is designed to replicate the gruesome appearance of a compound tibia fracture with exposed bone and soft tissue trauma. Crafted from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it provides exceptional realism and durability. The integrated Velcro closure and Veltex backing fabric make sizing adjustable and application fast. Suitable for both simulated patients (SP) and manikins, it enables powerful trauma training scenarios.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
    • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
    • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
    • Secure with Velcro fastening.
    • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
    • Designed for mid-tibia compound fracture simulation.
    • Enables training in:
      • Haemorrhage control and bandaging
      • Wound assessment and trauma management
      • Emergency fracture stabilisation
    • Fits most SPs and some manikins.
    • Reusable, fast to apply, and operable in stress-based training sessions.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
