The most realistic and versatile trauma wrap around for elderly skin tear training.
The MEDICFX Elderly Skin Tear Wrap Around replicates fragile geriatric skin injuries, featuring a realistic skin flap with exposed underlying tissue. Constructed from soft, skin-like silicone with embedded mesh for strength, it provides unmatched realism while remaining durable. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric allow quick application and sizing adjustments, making it suitable for both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each piece is hand-painted for a lifelike finish, enabling repeatable, clinically accurate training scenarios.

- Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
- Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
- Secure with Velcro fastening.
- Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
- Designed for elderly skin tear simulation (Type 1).
- Ideal for:
- Geriatric care training
- Nursing education on wound assessment and management
- Wound dressing and cleaning practice
- Safeguarding and patient care under fragile skin conditions
- Suitable for both SPs and manikins.
- Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
- Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
- Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
- Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
- MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
- Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
- If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
- All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
