Large Laceration Wound Trauma Sleeve for Medical Training and Moulage Simulation

The most realistic and versatile wrap around for deep tissue laceration training.

The MEDICFX Large Laceration Wrap Around replicates a severe open wound with realistic tissue depth, ideal for trauma and emergency care training. Made from soft, skin-like silicone reinforced with embedded mesh, it combines lifelike appearance with rugged durability. The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric make the wrap easy to apply and adjust, ensuring compatibility with both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each piece is hand-painted by our FX artists for clinically accurate and repeatable wound presentations.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS
  • Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
  • Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
  • Secure with Velcro fastening.
  • Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
TRAINING
  • Designed for deep laceration simulation.
  • Ideal for:
    • Haemorrhage control
    • Wound assessment and cleaning practice
    • Trauma dressing and bandaging training
    • Clinical and prehospital emergency care education
  • Suitable for SPs and manikins.
  • Durable for repeatable training sessions.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
  • Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
  • Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
  • Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
WARRANTY
  • MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
  • Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
  • If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
  • All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
