The most realistic and versatile wrap around for open wrist fracture training.
The MEDICFX Open Wrist Fracture Wrap Around is designed to replicate a compound fracture of the distal radius and
ulna, with exposed bone and surrounding soft tissue damage. Made from soft, skin-like silicone with embedded mesh
for strength, it combines lifelike realism with durability.
The Velcro fastening and Veltex backing fabric ensure
fast application and adjustable sizing, making it suitable for both simulated patients (SPs) and manikins. Each
piece is hand-painted by FX artists to create a unique, authentic training tool.

- Attach Veltex backing fabric to one side of the silicone sleeve.
- Wrap around the skin of the SP or manikin.
- Secure with Velcro fastening.
- Conceal edges with clothing or bandages as required for the scenario.
- Designed for compound wrist fracture simulation

- Rugged design for repeatable training sessions.
- Wash silicone with warm soapy water; disinfect with isopropyl alcohol.
- Veltex backing fabric can be hand-washed in warm soapy water and dried flat.
- Use translucent powder to reduce shine if required.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft towel or hairdryer.
- Store clean and dry, in a cool dark environment.
- MEDICFX warrants the Trauma Kit MP1000 against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery.
- Excludes: normal wear and tear (cuts, stains, fading), misuse, or improper cleaning.
- If defective, MEDICFX may repair, replace, or refund.
- All claims must be supported with photographic evidence within 7 days of receipt.
