Female Dog Phantom for X-Ray CT and MRI Imaging
The dog phantom is a versatile training simulator for sonographers, radiographers, and veterinary professionals. Compatible with X-Ray/CT and MRI imaging, it offers improved anatomical structures and removable body parts, allowing for practice in different positioning techniques. An ideal teaching tool with independence from external hardware/software.
The newly designed detachable dog phantom is a training simulator independent of external hardware/software. The phantom is compatible with X-Ray/CT, and MRI imaging. It has all the right features to be an ideal teaching tool for sonographers, radiographers, veterinary residents, and other vet professionals.
Unlike its predecessor, the new detachable dog phantom has improved anatomical structures and removable body parts(head, limbs, torso, and tail). This improvement is an added advantage as it helps perform various positioning techniques under the X-Ray/CT, and MRI imaging modalities.
In terms of MRI applications, the phantom tissues have realistic T2 relaxation time values which makes this product to be best fit for any T2-weighted MRI imaging methods. Very good results can be also achieved with Proton Density imaging methods. The phantom can be still imaged with T1-weighted methods but the T1 values are less realistic and they are within the range of about 100 ms.
